If he does, it isn't a big name opponent. Or someone from another sport, like tabletennis or curling.

I see what you're saying. I'd like to see nevertheless, I remember Fury - Wilder 3 was a hard sell and it ended up being their best fight

I think Fury will fight again but he's gone down in my estimation with his contradictory statements since fighting Dillian Whyte.

He calls himself the People's Champion yet he lies to them on a regular basis.

I don't understand why he does it.

Some may say it's attention seeking but he doesn't actually receive that attention directly, so what's the point?

The attention takes the form of discussions on internet forums like this one or comments on his social media pages - none of which he'll read.

I don't see what he's hoping to achieve.

I don't think we have seen the last of him. He's still only 34 and even if this retirement is genuine I think eventually he'll be offered a huge purse to return and face whoever is on top and has the belts.

Without a doubt Fury will fight again but I think it will have to be a special fight to motivate him to return. It is even possible that Wilder could end up Undisputed and then I’m not so sure Fury could be bothered to fight him a fourth time. I think by Xmas time the Heavyweight division will be pretty mapped out by then and Fury will be able to decide if he comes back around early 23 or late 23 .

I think for Fury to get the Usyk fight if he beats Joshua again Usyk would have to give up the belts for it to happen and I can’t see him doing that before looking to fight the new WBC Champion for an Undisputed fight. Hearn will be the biggest roadblock to prevent Usyk v Fury happening and I believe Fury already knows this. However should Joshua pull it off and actually beat Usyk,Hearn will be shouting from the roof tops to get Joshua v Fury made .

Fury hasn't really retired, he's just given up the belt. He'll be back.
