Given Fury's recent history of depression, recreational drug use, PED abuse and suicidal trances - will his family let him take the fight? Peter Fury has been on record stating that Usyk is the best boxer out there right now and the only man that could beat Tyson. The Fury family have followed Usyk since his pro debut. They know he's the goods and rightly so, he's put fear in Tyson. Not only that but Peter refutes the moronic claims from Tyson about how he would be able to "destroy the cruiserweight". This content is protected Paris has stated multiple times that she'd like Tyson to retire but believes he will come back to try to take the belts from Usyk, but doesn't want to see it. They're in the trenches right now, and we can pray that Fury stays on the straight and narrow.
Someone save this thread for when the GK has manhandled little Usyk and smashed him right up and the Fury clan are all in the ring laughing and smiling together
Following fight 2 with Wilder, I'd have favoured Fury. However, I don't think Wilder 3 did Fury any favours. His interviews about being unconscious, being scared of a brain injury and the general change in his performance don't fill me with confidence. Sure, he wiped the floor with Whyte, but let's be frank...he was always going to. Whyte is no Usyk and I think Fury is very well aware of how difficult Usyk could make the match-up.
