He was a beast in his prime. He also had problems with some fighters that like Tillis (I think that is the correct name, been awhile since I watched it)was a 6 rounder that Tyson did win, thought he could have done it in 3-4 though. I don't think biting ears helps you get into the boxing HOF.
Maybe you should go back and look thru his career. Your obviously a bit ignorant about it. Tyson Tillis was a 10 rounder, not 6. And people overrexagerate the 'problems' Tillis gave Tyson. That was also Tyson's 18th or 19th pro fight at that point, he was still learning. He easily dispatched much superior fighters a year or two later.
well people were saying ricky hatton was a shoe in....so youngest heavyweight champ ever, won the WBA title 2 times, the IBF title 1 time. WBC title 2 times had 12 or 13 legit world title fights...not wbo crap...... but he did lose to kevin mcbride....so my vote is NO (jk)
prob is, 75% of the guys on this board are youtube babies....they didnt watch this stuff when it unfolded.... he was probably talking about jesse fergeson fight that was a 6 rounder.....all i wil say to that is tyson beat his ass the entire fight and no one ever took feregson out in future fights early (except bowe)...and he fought everyone but tyson was also 18 or 19 years old....... ****ing guys like povetkin are 31 playing with their dicks while guys like tyson were knocking out people and winning championships....
Huh? Of course he'll get in? Did you just hear about this sport or something?:huh It's called BOXING, and Mike Tyson was the most FAMous practitioner of it in the last 35 years!!
Generally, if a guy is considered the lineal heavyweight champion he tends to get in the Hall. If you add to that that he was the youngest to ever do it, then I'd say he was a shoe-in.
I wish people would research the Hall of Fame before making threads about it. The boxing hall of fame has extremely low standards, look through their inductees.
