Will UK embrace "Nobody" Golovkin after defeating a welterweight?

K2 and Golovkin's whole Big Money Scheme revolves around the level of acceptance Golovkin receives n the trial match between him and the little guy, Kell Brook.
UK fans are far more gullible than US fans, and much much easier to please.
But the fact remains that the majority of ticket holders purchased their tickets in support of the bout's main draw; Brook, and not Golovkin.
Win or lose, Golovkin's UK acceptance is really dependent on his performance against Brook who many argue is only a welterweight, but still represents Golovkin's most dangerous opponent to date.
If you didn't heard me right allow me to repeat; Kell Brook, an average welterweight moving up to 160 is Golovkin's most accomplished and dangerous oppoent to date.

Win or lose, I don't believe even the UK fans are so gullible to transform a nobody 160 lber into a Superstar for facing a welterweight who is a level or two below Canelo or Cotto.

That would be even likely than a Canelo-Khan KO.

 

UK fans are showing up for Brook, not a nobody Golovkin.
After beating Brook, UK fans will want revenge and push DeGale or Saunders into facing Golovkin next. That bout will likely sell out too, because of DeGale or Saunders and not because of nobody Golovkin.
Golovkin couldn't make it in the USA with his welfare queen mentality, but a welfare queen can do very well in socialist UK.

Amir Khan is a bigger US draw than Golovkin, and Thurman-Porter made Golovkin's bouts like like UFC PPVs.

 

Golovkin has no special effects, no showmanship and no decent fight history. He is a nobody who needs special marketing support to wrap up no-frills cotex in a fancy box so that all women will buy them.
