Hook is the baddest troll on esb, & people still think he's super serious.

He usually only posts serious knowledgeable stuff when defending "Big G" Foreman or "Lenny Lion" Lewis.

But most of the time, he's sarcastic as ****. :yep

Anyway Threetime, tell me if you find any other Mitchell fights I should watch. I've only seen his fights with Ibragimov, Ferreyro, Carthron, & the highlights. :good

Did you see the spoof Tyson wiki link he used last week in response to a post from canibus. Funny as feck. His sarcasm was at it's best, in the same post he was shotting canibus lyrics in there too.
It went straight over canibus' head.:patsch
I can't remember what thread it was in and it's late so i'm off to bed now, but check his posts mate it's worth a look like.:D

I'll see what Mitchell fights there is during the week. Nice one Kally:good

Out of the 3 choices you almost have to vote yes. Tua may have been an above average fighter, but his range and athleticism were limited. He also NEVER held even a minor world title.

Mitchell WILL hold a world title, if not several. He's no Tyson, but he also doesnt have a division he can waltz right into and take the **** over either.:think

Some great quotes I found, by Seth & Chazz... (from Ring website)

    Chazz on Mitchell's previous opponents:
"They're not committing to their punches. They're fighting scared, so to speak. I'm not a guy who is going to come in like that. My heart doesn't pump any Kool-Aid and I know Seth's heart doesn't pump Kool-Aid. So you're going to have two men in there that's trying to win the fight. I believe that I'm going to have a good showing for myself."

    Mitchell's response:
"I think that at lot of them, once they get into the ring, that surprises them. I believe that once I start touching them, then they want to get out of there. I respect Chad, and I've watched him and I've studied him and they come to fight. He says his heart doesn't pump Kool-Aid, and my doesn't either. If you slice me open, there's no female dog in me. Just be prepared."

Yeah just what the division needs.Another feather fisted American level gatekeeper messing up real rankings, and only getting a title shot because of his skin tone.Ustinov or Abdulsommov would kill this guy.

Again, we see the same potential flaws in Mitchell that he displayed against Ibragimov. Flashes of weaknesses, but weaknesses nonetheless. Against Quinn, Mitchell looked just a tad lost and confused in center ring, as long as the bout was kept at a distance, and Quinn stuck to jabbing. Only when he found a way to bumrush Quinn and unload the right (and it looks like Quinn lacks serious durability), did Seth score his KO.

Against Ibragimov, Mitchell had trouble as long as Iggy kept it in mid-ring and jabbed. When Ibragimov started trading rights in round two, that put Mitchell in a postion to use overpowering strength to score a sudden KO. I don't think Mitchell closed the distance in this fight...I think Iggy recklessly closed the distance himself.

I think GB and Al Haymon picked Chazz Witherspoon next because Spoon can be counted upon to suicidally trade punches with Mitchell. That's like trying to outmuscle a bull. Doesn't work.

After that, Mitchell's people may have Chauncy lined up for the some reasons. Chauncy -- based on what I can see from his available films -- likes to get in guys' faces and brawl. That's a no-no against Seth Mitchell.

You wanna see Seth Mitchell get knocked out? I'll tell you who will do it...it will take a really cool-headed, athletic boxer/puncher to get the job done. Someone who handles Seth on the outside, breaks him down, and then delivers the KO punches only after the 6th round...while still boxing and punching, and avoiding brawling.

That man's name is Bryant Jennings. Mark my words.

That attitude is going to get Chazz knocked out. Cold.

Al Haymon picked Witherspoon for a reason. Just look at how Chazz tried to trade punches with Arreola. It was gutty, even admirable, but in end, he took a terrible beating and nearly had to be carried away on a stretcher.

That's exactly what Al Haymon had in mind when he picked Mitchell's next opponent. Someone cocky enough to try to trade with a brutal puncher like Mitchell.

Magomed has a lot of developing to do before he's ready for Mitchell. Right now, Mago is still too easy to hit, and that's exactly what Mitchell's people like in an opponent.

I don't know what to make of Ustinov yet. He's still kind of a mystery.

There will never be another Mike Tyson.

As for Mitchell, I have been impressed by him but to compare him to Tyson is delusional.
