Based on family name, and albeit some skill....Gary Russell (if he qualifies) could, but I highly doubt he will; maybe a bronze if he gets extremely lucky...!!!

Stevenson may be undefeated in junior and youth international competition, but elite is a different level; if he can keep up with the higher echelon boxers, he has a chance.

Carlos Balderas, due to having some WSB fights has already clinched a spot, but I don't see him going far in the Olympics...!!! Balderas' main flaw, he tries to bang with the bigger fighters, instead of using his boxing skills...!!!

My gut feeling is Yasniel Toledo from Cuba will get the Gold....and erase the Lomachenko loss from his detractors...!!!

Ok, last I heard Bashienov, Toledo and Zakaryan were the Top 3 Gold Medal hopefuls...!!!

Haven't been paying a lot of attention to ams lately (like I use to in the past), getting back into watching as much ams fights as I can now...!!!

I don't think bashinev is at much, pat mccormacck looks good too, 64kg is actually a pretty weak weight class imo

He never can. He'd rather take issue with the poster asking a legit question if the answer is something he'll be upset about.

I've just done research into the USA's performance since WADA took over from testing since 1999, as a point of comparison, let's use the UK

    In the 2000, 2004, 2008 & 2012

Olympics both had 3 Bronze's medals, both had 2 Silver medals, but most telling, the USA had only 1 Gold Medal, to the UK's 4.

    In the 4 Previous Olympics,

USA had 14 Golds, 5 Silvers & 9 Bronzes, while the UK had just 3 Bronzes.

How much of that do you think is down to WADA. :think
