So I know heavy weights are unneccesary for boxing, they are purely for improving aesthetics. And being somebody who would like to improve my physique as long as it does not hinder my boxing ability, I would like to use my dumbells to define certain muscles.

Im a lightweight and I rely a lot on my speed especially my jab, so my chest is small, I would like to define it a bit more unless it will slow me down or make me gain a lot of weight.

I have light dumbells, each weighing 7.5kg overall. They have two 2.5kg's and two 1.25kg weights on each dumbell so they can be adjusted to be lighter than 7.5 overall.

Can I use these to build definition without sacrificing speed or weight?

    ****ing hell...

yes. yes you can. you can lift weights, use dumbbells, kettlebells even BARBELLS

    WHOAH

    One more piece of enlightening information;

YOU WILL NOT BUILD MUSCLES WITH ****ING 7.5 KG WEIGHTS UNLESS YOU HAVE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY

Your chest is probably small cause it isn't developed.

This can be an age factor if your young since the body doesn't fully mature till your older. Some people also have narrow/sunken chests which you can't fully work your way out of.

Otherwise, the best and most effective chest builder I found was doing proper push-ups.

From the rise to rest, try to do 20 push-ups each hour. You don't need to be hugely strict about this but start getting in the habit of doing it.
Increase the amount of reps as it gets easier.

    Just everything here is incorrect.

    - Heavy weights unnecessary? Maybe. Depends on the individual's needs.
    - Heavy weights if used correctly can improve athletic performance.
    - Lifting weights will not "define certain muscles".

Your chest is small because you're a lightweight and you rely on speed? Wha? Have you ever seen Tyson?

    Definition is down to bodyfat.

You have some very basic weight training fundamentals to research.

Unless you're a 12 year old girl, 7.5kg will get you nowhere whatever your goal.
