He dared to go toe to toe with Breidis, who is probably a bigger puncher than Bellew, so he has it in him. He probably will go toe to toe at times as he'll want to impress the UK market ahead of a potential AJ fight.

Listen, Bellew went toe to toe with David Haye whos one of the hardest punchers in the HEAVYWEIGHT division. And hits orders of magnitude harder than bredis or Gassiev.

And bellew took his best shots and did what a PRIME Wladamir couldn't do and dropped him flat on his face.

If Usyk stands and fights, he will be destroyed.

Well if he does he'll get knocked out, so I'm guessing he won't.

He got dropped by Makabu, who doesn't hit as hard as Haye. Why? accuracy and the ability to properly pull the trigger, which Haye didn't have at that point, and Usyk does have.

If someone is a sitting duck, it is invariably much easier to drop them.

i can't see it, i'm sure joyce hits harder than Bellew even with bigger gloves, i'm sure Medhzidov hits harder, it's debatable that Breidis & Gassiev do too.

Did Bellew fight a PRIME Haye though...No, he didn't. Don't get me wrong, putting Haye to the canvas is still a good feat, but he was clearly past it. Also, Bellew was looking for the punch to put him down. Wlad wasn't. Wlad knew he could outbox Haye so he never went looking for anything and was cautious.

He hits harder than Briedis and Gassiev, I agree. But skills-wise he isn't on the same level as Briedis and is a little better than Gassiev, he's somewhere in between those two. If he manages to force Usyk onto the ropes he has a chance. Otherwise, he's getting schooled.

It would be funny as **** if Bellew beats gap-toothed nerdy looking sex offender Aleksandr just to see all these hipsters who say stuff like "he beat Joe Joyce in the amateurs, it was a masterclass and I was there aged 8" in tears.

I can already envisage the hindsight to discredit Bellew. "Lucky shot! Usyk was injured! Early stoppage! Usyk was rubbish anyway because he lost to Shawn Porter"

Usyk is levels above Bellew skill wise so no need to go toe to toe. He will jab him to submission.

Bellew will use his strength, ring iq and decent movement to make it uncomfortable at times for Usyk early on but i expect a wide, very feel, UD or late stoppage for Usyk.

I wouldn't read much into Bellew's victories over Haye. Haye was a shot as one can be.

but major props to Bellew for taking this fight.

I like Bellew and he did well beating Haye but lets be honest there is a world of difference between the haye that WK fought pre chronic injuries and the one Bellew fought! Bellew said and knew that himself...

There wasnt a second in either fights did haye look like fighter he once was...

Haye came back for some money... not because he had found some magical cure for his many injuries.

How has Bellew suddenly become the p4p biggest puncher in the sport?

Lol just stop... Fair play to Tony but it took him 2 fights to barely beat both Chilemba & Cleverly & he was sparked out by a LHW lol Hayes nothing but a hobbled has been that should never have set foot back in a ring after Chisora.... He was out for 4 years ffs!!! This is a money & exposure fight for Usyk...
