Will Usyk dare to go toe to toe with the bomber?

Some think he Would defeat a Prime Ali...on that prediction alone I am sure he will.!!!

 

Brilliant. Tony played directly into Usyk's hands, on the back foot the whole fight, trying to connect with his bombs, that when they landed, were having zero effect on Usyk.

Tony started blowing after round 3. Fair play to him, kept it up, even through it was slowing, and then Usyk's jab and speed just killed him. And that finish was clinical, three top blows to knock him down, but you can tell from the way he was, a culmination of being overworked and run down had completely knackered him.

When Bellew was throwing his best, Usyk was still in complete control of the fight.

Povetkin, Parker and Whyte aren't no more 'heavyweights' than Oleksandr Usyk, Mairis Brieidis and Murat Gassiev are.

Even if we exclude the height and reach advantage Usyk possesses over Povetkin, Usyk still carries nowhere near the amount of body fat as Povetkin does and still weighs close to what a fatter Povetkin weighs. Usyk with the same body fat percentage, would weigh more than Povetkin. Usyk is barrel chested and is naturally a very big man. Naturally bigger than Povetkin.

Dillian Whyte, Joseph Parker and Alexander Povetkin, all carry multiple pounds of unnecessary body fat / weight. Just by the eye test, it's clearly visible and obvious.

Meanwhile, Usyk, Gassiev and Briedis don't carry anywhere near as much, if any unnecessary body fat or weight.

If Usyk, Gassiev and Briedis decided to have as much body fat percentage as Whyte, Parker or Povetkin, they'd weigh the same and be competing at heavyweight. I think they'd rather be in shape and be competing at a more natural weight division. That doesn't at all mean they couldn't beat those 'blown up' cruiser weights, who are really their own size, excluding the additional body fat.
