Usyk is definitely a brilliant boxer and he could just school Dubois here but on the other side Dubois is a huge puncher and a much better finisher than AJ.
This is not an easy fight. Usyk may make it appear easy but only because he is one of the top boxers in the sport. Dubois is much bigger and will be throwing bombs as long as his stamina allows. Usyk is relatively small for heavyweight and the laws of physics always apply. The fact that everyone thinks this is an easy fight shows how good Usyk is. Injury, eye poke, head clash, cut - always possibilities. If Dubois throws the kitchen sink at Usyk and doesn't knock him out, Usyk will subsequently dominate and possibly knock him out. If he tries to keep something in the tank he can survive and remain dangerous. Usyk will adjust accordingly.
I think its going to be a good fight. Dubois hits too hard, but is also too easy to hit for this to be a 12 rounder.
I must admit I'm rather bemused by talk of an upset. As if an ATG is going to be undone by an oaf who hasn't even learned to move his head yet. After a couple of rounds Usyk will be dialled in and the inevitability of the outcome will become obvious to all. I see Usyk stopping him rounds 6-8. No point letting the big man swing at you for 12 when you can quite safely get him out of there.
oaf ōf noun A person regarded as stupid or clumsy. In popular superstition, a changeling; a foolish or otherwise defective child left by fairies in the place of another carried off by them. A dolt; an idiot; a blockhead; a simpleton.
