Think fury will comfortably outbox him but i could be wrong. I think fury is too big AND skilled for him.
How could someone be too skilled for a fighter who is the amateur world champion, Olympic gold medalist, undisputed cruiserweight champion and unified heavyweight champ?
He's definitely not too skilled for Usyk. Too big? Maybe. But he didn't look great in 4 years. And he needs to be great to beat Usyk.
i don’t see how usyk can defeat fury. sure against someone like joshua who’s pretty much a 2024 frank bruno with zero concept of footwork, but against someone with the movement of fury? Also olympics don’t really tell us much, as amatuer boxing is miles away from pro boxing. I like fury by a comfortable UD.
Fury will win handedly enough All sorts of excuses will fly after the fight like, Fake cut Waited usyk out Boar meat Spiked usyks water Gypsy curse Etc Etc The tears will be delicious when Fury runs through him. Late stoppage or wide points
There's every reason to believe he won't Belly vs AJ is ''the biggest fight in boxing history'' The Saudis are desperate to stage ''the biggest fight in boxing history'' as opposed to staging Usyk vs AJ III E-Hearn and Big Frank are desperate to put on ''the biggest fight in boxing history'' E-Hearn and Big Frank are business partners with His Excellency In fact, he has chosen them to spearhead his Saudi takeover of boxing Usyk's manager Egis Klimas has an excellent stable of fighters and he's the man who has managed many of the best fighters from former Soviet states in the last decade but he hasn't been chosen to be one of their business partners Belly has already been on the right side of a highly controversial decision over in Saudi in order to ensure he got the opportunity to fight for undisputed and the Saudis got the opportunity to stage the fight One of the judges robbed Usyk in the AJ rematch over there in a fight Usyk won at least 8 rounds and was a clear winner, scoring the fight 115-113 to AJ He had AJ ahead 5-1 at the halfway point, inexplicably scoring the first 3 rounds to AJ, and one of the other two had it a way too close 115-113 to Usyk Look at the treatment Usyk's close friend, fellow former P4P #1 and countryman Loma has received from the judges and one ref (Cole) And last but by no means least, His Excellency is openly cheerleading for his business partner Big Frank's golden goose Belly This content is protected And this too. Pray tell AJ fans in what alternate universe, dimension or reality would AJ ever have to beat Usyk x 2, let alone a third time? Usyk has already soundly beaten him twice, the first time of which after being very inactive on a deck that couldn't have been more heavily stacked against him in AJ's backyard in front of 65,000 + vociferous and rowdy AJ fans and the second time over in Saudi with the huge distraction of his country having been invaded and being at war to contend with Usyk is the one who had everything stacked against him not AJ, including huge physical disadvantages Let's play through this scenario AJ has beaten J-Park x 1, on a deck heavily stacked in his favour in his backyard with a ref who wouldn't allow the short reach J-Park to fight in close So let's just say AJ gave him a rematch next (and J-Park is far more deserving of a shot at the winner of Usyk vs Belly than AJ is) and were to beat him again in what alternate universe, reality or dimension would he have to fight him a third time? This content is protected I don't think it's a reach to say that it appears like His Excellency, and I really want to afford him the benefit of the doubt, is Team Belly and Team AJ all the way and definitely not Team Usyk and many others have noticed this and not without good reason and make no mistake even the most ardent Belly fans have noticed it too and know deep down how unfair and wrong it is. I'm not saying for sure Usyk won't receive a fair shake over in Saudi but it's not like boxing isn't as corrupt as hell as it is and there's clearly a huge conflict of interest here. No one, if they're being honest that is, can deny there are very valid reasons to be concerned given all the aforementioned. Hopefully, the Saudis want everything to be on the level too.
Fury could get knocked down ten times and he'll still be gifted a comfortable decision. Usyk's only hope is a ko/tko.
Yeah I’m also of the opinion Usyk will have to completely dominate to get the decision. The Saudis are desperate for Fury v AJ. It would be a real shame though. An ATG like Usyk being robbed of becoming the Undisputed HW Champion in an era of super heavyweights is a depressing thought.
If we're looking at Usyk getting underscored 2 of Usyks 3 decisions at HW have been fighting British fighters in the UK. And the 2nd AJ fight in Saudi was a close fight even if it should have been a close unanimous decision. Part of why I think judging should be done by total points is SD allows one rogue judge to paint the picture of a razor thin fight. But regardless in the end you need 2 rogue judges to actually swing the outcome. If there is judging bias towards Fury its just the Saudis there is not a long history to point to like the one Rummy referenced with Canelo. I see the motive for Hearn and "His Excellency" to make Fury v AJ but I believe Fury doesn't want that fight and would use beating Usyk as an excuse to avoid fighting AJ altogether. And thats not baseless speculation at various points during the promotion for this fight Furys said as much, "Usyk beat AJ twice, I'll fight Parker/Zhang rematch winner"(back when that was a thing). Fury has not been consistant on this topic and hes also said the opposite mulitple times. But Fury v AJ is not a sure thing at all if Fury wins this fight. And I don't see thumbs being put on the scales in the hope of making it. The Saudi campaign does not seem like a means to an end to make one fight but rather an attempt to replace the US as the boxings main home. And I think in service of that goal any one fight is a blip on the radar. Also if Fury wins a close fight against Usyk wouldn't that just ensure the rematch they both keep saying will happen would have to happen? If Fury wins a close fight against Usyk fans will not want to see Fury v AJ they will want to see the rematch between Fury and Usyk.
Usyk has an uphill battle as the judges and ref will be compensated for favoring Fury. It’s so obvious. Usyk will have to stop Fury to win given the gift Fury was awarded against Ngannou.
