I thought he was gonna bang a lot harder at heavyweight then he did ( his punching power reminds me of Chris Byrd’s ) anyway your thoughts on usyks win against a Chazz .. would like too see usyk fight a super heavy weight even helinuis in a few months as another tune up !! Curious too see if usyk can take a super heavyweights punch /

Of course it will. The question is to what extent? Will he be able to beat top HW with his (limited) power?

He already felt that this division is not a joke:

Power punching was never really part of his style. He's already had some success vs. superheavyweights in the WSB---he didn't KO them but he did thoroughly outbox them.

Too soon to tell. Had Chazz put something on him, we may have seen him throw his whole body in it. as im watching it now. Can't guage his power because he seems content on outboxing Chazz

Lomachenko and Golovkin regularly look like that fighting in their own divisions. Whoopty doo. Chazz for what it's worth, is a decent puncher.

Byrd lacked power and size, yet was able to beat hellacious punching David Tua (who was in great shape unlike in Lewis fight), and huge guys like Jameel McCline. He even beat Vitali Klitschko - yes, by inhury, but so did Lennox Lewis. Lewis offensive skills enabled him to cut Vitali's face, Byrd's defense made Vitali torn his shoulder when he missed with a punch.

Floyd Mayweather was a very light hitter in the welterweight and junior middleweight divisions. Yet he was able to beat guys like OLDH and Alvarez.

It will hurt, but it still might not prevent him from beating top 5 heavyweights

Usyk will go the way of Adamek in my opinion. Will look good for the first few fights. But these huge behemoths will wear down his punch resistance, and he'll be softened up. It will only be a matter of time before he is forced to fight against one of these brutes. And he'll be pounded down to the ground by one of these obese slobs, because he can't fend them off. Look at his face! The damage as already begun. Lol

Well, it can be said that almost any heavyweight is a decent puncher. Especially against a cruiserweight.

Well Usyk carries more power than Fury and he managed to do well in his prime. Add to that Usyk has better footwork, ring IQ and better Jab than Fury did as well, also Usyk isnt as chinny as him.

    Interesting comparison. Could be.

I do think Usyk is more skilled than Adamak and has some talent. Adamak was skilled but nothing special in terms of possessing gifts.

Usyk's power will only come into play when a firefight breaks out, I think he's big enough by far to win in the heavyweight division as long as he controls the distance and boxes beautifully which he can do. But,,,when a strong heavy makes him fight on the inside for a few rounds …..who knows?

Chazz looked like a worn out 38 year old who'd already cashed the check. Not Usyk's fault by any means but this fight proved nothing.

No. And it probably won't hurt anyone else either.
