Will Vasyl Lomachenko ever turn pro?

There is this Ukrainian who has just joined Birtley boxing gym, he's had about 300 amateur fights. They recon he's unreal, he was meant to be on the wsb team with Lomachenko but left to come here, they recon he's battered the ABA champion in sparring. Watch out for him, I duno what his plans are, whether or not he's going pro or in the wsb for GB.

 

There's going to be a lot of people looking stupid when Lomachenko turns pro. The talk about his lack of power is nonsense, he's fighting 5 rounders against top fighters. How many KO's does Golovkin have within 5 rounds against top opponents?
Lomachenko is the same size as Broner as well. Rios is garbage, Gatti v. 2.0.

 

To have a record of 300-1 having avenged you only defeat, you have to be great, train hard etc. He would at least be a very good pro.

 

Him vs Broner is Donaire vs Rigo. We'll see how the outstanding ams do against outstanding pros very soon.

 

Donaire vs Rigo has zero relevance to Lomachenko vs Broner. Rigo while very good obviously always had an amateur style and still does to a large extent, not to mention 12 losses in the amateur game. Lomachenko only picked up one loss as an amateur fighting with a pro style. Lomachenko is more of a professional boxer than 99% of actual professional boxers are.

Yer I watched Ringside and it was a good piece on him. He would be moved on quite quickly in the pro ranks aswell. He's already fighting world class boxers in the WSB and over 5 3min rounds. No point going back to 4 3min rounds and fighting dross.

 

he also said he would consider a UK promoter if the price was right but his ultimate goal is to fight out of America

 

Lomachenko is the truth.

As has been stated he is fighting the very best in the WSB.

You don't get many KO's in that tournement.

 

some dumb people on here saying hes not all that iv followed him for years the mans a machine hel be a top p4p within a couple of years his footwork hand speed are unreal hes accurate and throws great combos the pros will suit him down to the grownd hed make the likes of rios look silly when he finds his feet after 15+ pro contests

 

he also got beat by brazil in the last world championships but had the decision overturned as it was a farce
