Khan would need to fight at a lower level to test how good his trainings improved, but with the way he's talking he wants to fight back at a higher level after he's done with molina. it would require 16-18 months for him to have shown the necessary improvements to fight at the worldclass stage. your basically talking about changing atleast 50% of his fighting style do you have any idea how long that could potentially take, especially for someone like khan. the fact of the matter is there is too many big money fights out their and he cant just remove himself from it or avoid it.

If Khan is Walcott, I'm going to say Danny Williams is Heskey.

we won't know until we see his first fight with hunter. i know that their first fight together won't tell tell us loads, but it'll tell us some of the ideas he has for amir. plus, it all comes down to how much amir listens... that's the main point. amir likes to go out there and throw everything all at once with no care for what's coming back. if he can settle down with the right tactics, and the right punches to throw against certain styles ( stepping in with a right uppercut against a left hook counter puncher is the silliest thing i've ever seen) then i don't see why he can't get back to the top.

he's got all the ability in the world, but if it isn't used in the right way, then it doesn't matter. this is amir's last chance, it's entirely up to him now.

to change an ameturish style into a prostyle is something which takes years, khans had 7 years and he still makes mistakes things may take years to change for him, and i doubt he'll have the patience to take that length of time.

of course, Khan is not a complete dense utter pillock. As humans we grow and learn from our mistakes. All it takes for Virgil to change Khan is tell him what's wrong, how they're gonna fix it and Khan repeats it over and over again in the gym.

Repetition is the mother of skill.

To keep labouring the football analogy, Garcia is one of those forwards who despite seeming to be a bit unathletic or lumbering, is invariably in the right place at the right time (a type that encompasses skill levels from Grant Holt to Berbatov). Eventually you realise that anticipation is possibly the greatest talent of all (all Lineker's goals were tap-ins, but if it's that easy why couldn't everyone do it?). Morales might have been shot, but the way Garcia baited him into a 1-2 and hooked him during the "2" was beautiful, can that type of timing be taught in a few months?

If he does, it will be a masterstroke.

If Khan could stick to a game plan even when he does get caught, cover up, use the ring, clear your head get your legs back.....But something in his brain tells him to punch his way out of it.

    Thats his downfall.

No. Khan will probably win his next 2 fights and look very good doing it. Then he will fight someone like Mattyse and will take a big shot and then he will go gung ****in ho and will eventually be flattened again. Khan cant control the pace the pace of a fight. He seems to think he has to throw 4 shots everytime.

  10. He needs to learn a lot, defence, effective clinching, effective movement (not running)

    Hunter has his hands full

I think Khan is more of your Robbie Savage than Theo Walcott, ****, vile and it would be an honour to kick him in the bollocks.

    derek chisora / Joey Barton.

Hints at being class, but ultimately not quite there at the top level. Also, acts like a **** on a regular basis.
