Will Vitali get any credit if he beats Arreola?

    I agree 100%.

Vitaly should win this, and win comfortably. Apart from age, Vitaly has the edge in EVERYTHING else. And Arreola pissed (or ate) away his age advantage by being as fat as a pig.

    A reasonable level of credit.

I can hardly award him an unreal amount of credit for beating a top 10 fighter that has not beaten any other top 10 fighters, or really done anything of note in his career.

Still, he's a young, undefeated contender with a nice record on paper so I'll give him some props, better than most of Vitali's wins I'd think.

Another win over a Top10 guy; in this case, Arreola is one of the american hopes (the other one is Chambers).

It will be a decent win but not VK's best.

    None.
I can't give credit for beating a fighter who doesn't even run.

It matters more on what Arreola does in the future, If Arreola retires, or is ruined and doesn't fight well ever again after then he will not get much credit. If Arreola goes and fights and has a relatively successful carrer after, everyone will be like, well he was pretty good but didn't quite make it against the very top fighters.

Vitali will "never" be given credit for any fight he wins by the haters. They bigots are blind with hate.

A loss to Vitali will not destroy Arreola's career because Vitali is so good.

Sam Peter was also in everybody's top ten in 2005 and he beat Jeremy Williams, Janqui Diaz and Taurus Sykes prior to fighting Wlad. Actually pretty comparable opposition to what Arreola has done so far. Still, Arreola and Peter are/were young, hungry and undefeated, that's gotta count for something...

It depends on how Vitali wins, and what Arreola does with the rest of his career.

The initial credit would be, Vitali at age 38 beat an un-defeated much younger top ten ring magazine ranked heavyweight in his own back yard.
