Will Vitali get any credit if he beats Arreola?

Credit? Well....I suppose, I mean he's expected to win rather easily so in order to really impress he'll have to dump him almost instantly. Personally I don't expect Arroela (chortle) to win a single minute of a single round, it's really a bit of a hiding to nothing job, on't see how he got the shot in the first place to be honest.

Not much... There is noboby out there right now for Vitali to beat that will earn him the credit he probably deserves.

It would sound something like this...

Arreola: "fat, out of shape, untested, HBO hype-job etc".
Haye: "unproven at HW, not a real HW, glass-chin etc".
Valuev: "no talent bum, lost to Chagaev, gift desicions vs Donald, Ruiz, Holyfield etc".
Chambers: "too small, no power, already lost to Povetkin etc".
Povetkin: "too green, too small, no head-movement, lacks power etc".

VK really needed a win in that Lewis rematch to prove himself to the public...
Too bad Lennox wanted no part of it.

He should. Arreola is ranked highly and pretty respected right now.
