    short answer is yes.

long answer, maybe not, johnson is slick and has a very good jab, so he could delay his doom...

but ultimately vitali needs to ko him. if it goes the distance, then he gets no credit for me on it.

    but i doubt thatll happen

Stupid question as no one knows how good Johnson is yet.

If Vitali KO's him in one and then Johnson goes on to unify the division in his next 10 fights...he'll get a lot of credit.

If Johnson loses to John Ruiz in his next fight he'll get very little. Johnson has fought no one at all of any note for us to know just how good he is yet.

yea but even then, if johnson goes on to greatness, the division is still "weak" so ultimately everyone will be able to say the win is meaningless

No Johnson is a bum....end of story. Vitali Already gets tons of credit for being a verry good fighter though. He doesn't need the credit from this win.

Vitali needs to Kirk Johnson this lame contender, for me to give him any credit. Their is at least 25 other heavyweights I much rather see him face. This fight sucks.

No they wont. That's like saying Lewis would've gotten no credit for KOing Vitali in one round because Vitali went on to dominate a weak era.

    Simply not true!!

    Right.

He is undefeated, so he is not entirely without merit.

We know Johnson is at least a decently skilled fighter, but with lacking punching power. That's about all we know, given his limited opposition.

He may be a sleeper and may really be alot better than we think. He's yet to be beaten, and he does seem to have quite a good jab.

hes gonna be shell shocked by stepping so insanely historically far up in competition. from fighting nobodies to fighting a guy who is possibly one of the top 10 greatest hw's of all time...and a knockout artist...no way

  13. Johnson is a TOMATO CAN- I see no reason VK shouldn't knock this BUM out in 5 or 6 rounds...;)

    But against dreadful opposition.

Where has this bull**** come from? He lost to the only great fighter he faced.

Personally, I'd like to see Vitali come out aggressive tonight.
