Didn't notice it, maybe he did. This is a good question though since we don't have anyone in the division with the RING title after Vitali retired.
This f*ckin' guy won a vacant title and defended it one time...and some of you expect him to walk into the ring four years later with the ring belt. Not only would that be a huge laugh, it would be a tremendous insult to his brother...who has a much stronger claim to that belt...even though it's not his either.
Scar, if he beats Peter who is Ring #2 do you think he has a claim to it? He never lost it in the Ring but I know many question how he was Ring Champion to begin with...........
You never deal with the matter at hand. I made an excellent point on topic with the thread...and you retort with "...a bigger laugh would be." I was spot on with my summary of the situation, you offer nothing but more rhetoric. Please join the discussion...
Good question, never thought about that. I think Wlad should have the belt right now, don't know why he doesn't have it. Wlad beat Peter. Wlad is much better than Big Foot and Ruiz. But, I think DLH doesn't like Wlad or something. Who knows.
The thing is to win the Ring title you must be ranked in top 3 and your oponent too! When Vitali fought Sanders Vitali was #1 and Sanders #3 so they fought also for vacant Ring title! When Wlad beat Peters they both was not in top 3 I believe! And now to become Ring champ he has to beat either Peter again or Chagaev! (Or Ruiz v Valuev winner if Chagaev then is out of top 3!)
I thought to win the Ring Belt it must be the top two contenders must fight?? Confusing stuff, but it would be unjust giving vitali the belt after a 4 year absence. In any case the ring magazine rules are that a fighter relinquishes the belt upon retirement, therefore vitali must win it back like any other fighter now.
