I saw a gassed fighter getting walked down in the later rds, I saw him quit then get on the mic and give an apology, The truth hurts don't it.

Bull****, Byrd was walking him down at the end, wasn't he? The scorecards weren't the point under discussion here. The point is that Byrd was walking VITLAY down at the end, and looking like Mike Tyson in doing so - VITLAY was playing the part of Tyrell Biggs, only with a more scared look on his face :deal

Vitali dominated most of the fight, but I agree with him - Byrd was scoring and walking him down toward the end of the fight after the injury. He was just saying it in a way to **** you guys off.

As for the thread topic, if Vitali's reasoning is true then he will fight through an injury since he doesn't have much of a career left anyway - after this fight who else is there to fight?

You're claiming he was walking down Vitali then asking "WASN'T HE?"

That shows how dumb you are.

No he wasn't walking down Vitali. Watch the fight.

referee: Genaro Rodriguez | judge: Melvina Lathan 88-83 | judge: Ruben Garcia, Dr. 89-82 | judge: Joachim Jacobsen 88-83

    End of stupid thread.

Were you born sideways or something? What the **** do the scorecards have to do with whether or not Byrd was stalking VITLAY at the end of the fight? I've watched the fight yes, not once have I claimed Byrd was ahead, all I've said is that he was pulling a Mike Tyson on VITLAY at the end, and that is VITLAYS biggest career achievement - I seriously can't think of another fighter that could have made Byrd look so menacing, it was awesome :good

Vitali had shoulder surgery he has a scar from it. You are an idiot. Let me guess you also think Klitschko never had knee or back surgery either? :patsch

If he's healthy in there and doing well then he won't quit, he proved it in the Lewis fight that he has no quit in his heart. The Byrd fight only he knows how painful it was, the injury must have been too serious that he had to call it off or end his career right there and then, can't use that against him. However, if his injuries kick in and ruin his performance it's possible he MIGHT have to call it, you just never know.

Yep, Byrd was even using the peek-a-boo towards the end. Would you say he looked more like Tyson or Patterson in the last couple of rounds :think
