Do u see this as an advantage or a non factor in the lopsided victory by Ward when he wins the Super Six to take the trophy for America ?

It will be an advantage because it's another tool in his quite complete toolbox.

I'm not that much of a Ward fan, but I appreciate his talent. He can fight on the inside, he can fight on the outside, he can switch stance, he can fight on the backfoot, he can fight on the front one. Froch is a good fighter, so there is a possibility that many of Ward's tool won't be effective against him, but like I said, he's got other tools in his toolbox.

I'm picking Ward to win by decision, but I would not put any money on this one. You don't bet your well earned money against warriors like Froch.

    Great post.

Only thing I could day in response is Froch does not have much defense and does not have true power. Sure he is a warrior and that is the main reason I respect him but he is tailor made for Ward.

he will show heart but it would be a minor miracle for him to win.
I do believe the odds are amazing on Ward. He should be a 6 or 7-1 favorite especially being the fight is in the US and he is only a 2-1 favorite.

I agree with this post completely.

I will say that if anything can bother Ward it's a guy that can box inside-outside and be rough and agressive like Bika. Froch fits that bill. I'm looking for it to be interesting either way.

It's really hard to fancy Carl's chances in this fight.

Froch still wins after the bell when he goes home to smash Rachel.
Besides Canelo he got the fittest bird.

I don't think he will need to switch much and probably won't. Froch sure is a big strong guy and is very durable so I'm expecting a tough fight.

I've never seen Froch's good work on the inside. Johnson turned him into a "slick" counter puncher and Johnson seemed to get the best of him when he manged to work inside(somewhat rarely). I actually expect Ward to mug him and keep the fight close and rough.

I think the SMW division is in a situation where the top 3 guys could beat each other.

1- I would not be surprised to see Ward outbox Froch like he did to Kessler.
2- I would not be surprised to see Bute hurts Ward with uppercuts when he's getting closer.
3- I would not be surprised to see Bute KOed in the later rounds against Froch, looking bad under a 12 round pressure.

And I'm not even talking about Kessler who won against Froch. It's a great division.

If Ward Switches to South Paw.. it only meant to further confuse Froch.. Class will be in session and this will be a great fight...
