Green was on another website a couple days ago that saying that he belives ward has no intention of fighting him . also stated that he belives ward will be running off with his Title inhand. So what do you ESBers say?

Ward drops out to avoid Alan Green who was out boxed by Edison Miranda because he can't position his feet without looking at them? Alan, when visiting with Greg Leon, do not, repeat, DO NOT eat, drink, smoke or otherwise consume anything he offers you. (I guess 'otherwise' means in suppository form because that seems to be where Alan Green is talking out of.

Green is just jawing because he is upset Ward isn't ready to go. If Ward wanted to leave he would have already, besides I believe the contract for the Super Six requires the belts involved to stay involved at least for the pool stage (After the pool stage it is possible for a belt to leave via a fighter beating a champion but not having enough points to stay in the tourney)

Plus, after beating Kessler, he has to be pretty high on his chances of picking up another belt and winning the whole thing. Green? Yep, jawing. Not even original. Sounds a lot like I just heard from Williams. :D

Nah, I just can't believe that he will. Ward's not like that.

And, if he did, it'd literally alienate the boxing world from him at a time when he's on the verge of becoming the next US star. It just makes so little sense for him to even consider it given the guaranteed paydays and exposure of the Super Six and the repercussions of pulling out.

Andre Ward is a fanatical religious hypocrite, a disgrace to the sport of boxing, a disgrace to his religion, and a disgrace to people of color, but Green is full of ****. Ward is not afraid to fight him. Especially not if he can fight in his home town, and get Jack Reiss to referree again.

The day the boxing world makes Son of Goat a super star will be the day I puke in a bucket, and find another sport to follow.

No! Victor Conte will provide him with "special hormones" that genetically will move the hard parts of his injured knee up to his front head. That way he'll be able to headbutt Green back to the stone age.:cannabis

Sadly, you know it's on the way. He's going to get marketed as the next Golden Boy as long as he keeps winning, no matter the bull**** circumstances surrounding them.

I can't see how Ward is afraid of Green. Kessler is arguably a bigger puncher and better overall fighter, and Ward already completely outclassed and bullied a guy who nearly knocked Green the **** out...AFTER outboxing him. I don't see how Ward would gain anything by pulling out, and Green is a great opponent for Ward at this point. I suspect that the injury is legit OR that Showtime didn't want to have the date cluttered.

These threads are ridiculous. Ward was injured in training. He has no choice but to postpone the fight. IN beating Kessler - he already soundly defeated the favored fighter in the tournament. Ward no doubt respects Green - but certainly does not fear him. Green is just bumping his gums - probably at the advice of his gladhandling poozer of a "manager" Greg Leon.

Ward faked an injury to make sure the fight is in his home town with his judges and referee, if not, he will not fight. Dirrell did the same thing.
