Nah. Still can't clobber someone in the back of the head or neck. So much for the 'real fight' aspect.

Well, technically, he enters with one since he gets Taylors goose egg of points. Who would he have to fight next?

Considering he'd had to wait for the next two fights to finish I'd prefer the winner of Dirrell Abrham 1st for him ..

I do agree Boo, Ward, at the minimum should have gotten a warning and point deducted, I did not know the headbutting tally was nine I remember 5 or 6(which is 5 or 6 too many). As far as intentional, the last headbutt, if I remember correctly in the 8th or 9th round look as blatant as can be.
But any of the above mentioned fighters are absolutely NOT taking 5 or 9 headbutts:nono without retaliating! Kessler is just to much of a gentleman. I can also bet the next Ward fight, whomever the referee is, is going to be watching carefully!

Crap thread. Ward's coming off the biggest win of his career against the fighter favourite to win the super 6 series before it started, and now you seem to think he's afraid of a man who lost a decision to Miranda. It takes all types.

Not a dumb move Taylor already left the tournament. He has a belt. With the rest of the division locked up he will keep the belt longer. Unless he fights Bute. Think about it fight Allan Green for nothing and hi risk or pack a house in Montreal and fight Bute for big money and maybe even the Ring Belt

WTF?! I never heard anything like that before. Are you THAT hurt of a Kessler fan? I never heard of him being the second coming of Satan until reading that. Then again you seem to hate him to no end and have nothing good to say about him. Tell me, what has he done besides get abit billygoatish against Kessler? And even if he did, he fought the rest of the fight with his fists and by consensus beat Mikkel. Not sure what exactly makes the hate so justifiable....

I think that's what he wants. He got a shot at a title because of this tournament and now want to get out of it.
