Will Ward ever fight again? If he really wants a top legacy, I think he should come back to test his skills v. a very deep pool of light heavyweights.

Already an ATG. If he put on 25 pounds and came back to beat some or all of the light heavyweights today... Wow, he would at the very least then become a top 15 ATG fighter.

Light heavyweight is a stacked division so it would mean a lot to do that. Crazy, because he could do it every day of the week, and twice on a Sunday!

The jump from 168 to 175 is not that big. Ward said he'd move up to heavyweight. That was a joke of a comment, but he's certainly big enough for 175. The best fights out there are at light heavyweight.

I don't think he want to face top talent anymore.

He'll get KOed by top fighters both in light heavy weight and cruser weight. Both divisions are too much for him now.

He has nothing left to prove, seems like the kind of guy who'd be responsible with his money (but who knows), and he has a great post-boxing career. So no, I don't think he'll return.

Kovalev couldn't do it twice, you honestly thing Gvozdyk or Bivol could? Or even Beterbiev?
I won't say there is 0 possibility, but it is far more likely that Ward(even now) goes the distance, rather then gets stopped.

It´s extremely hard to KO a top level boxer.

He should not go through cruiserweight . Light heavyweight is his limit. I know he wanted to do the heavyweight jump like his ideal Roy . But it's to much Roy had great athletic attributes plus a possibility of Roy himself juicing to go to heavyweight . Were in areas Andre Ward is just to natural to do that .

Im a Ward fan and wish he hadn't retired. There are some damn good fights at LHW for him that could really make that legacy even more special.

He was getting paid ridiculously by those Jay-Z guys. He can't get a pay day like that with any fight at LHW. Bellew would be the best option for him if that match up ever realized. I'd actually like that better than Bellew vs Usyk. So at the end of the day it's not like Canelo will move up to 175 and challenge him, which means it's very unlikely he'll ever fight again unless he suddenly goes broke for any reason.
