GGG's team have said they will fight Ward, but because Golovkin's more marketable Ward will not be able to dictate terms.

    Ward terms consist of:

    1. Come to California.
    2. I get the much higher per cent of the purse at least 75/25 in my favor.
    3. Come to 168- I do not move up, I do not move down.
    4. Fight must be on HBO.
    5. Absolutely no and I mean no random drug testing whatsoever.

Sure the Edwin Rodriguez's and the Brian Vera's of this world will probably accept those demands but with those terms can he get the likes of Hopkins, Kovalev, Stevenson, Pascal, Froch, Chavez Jr, Golovkin or Cotto in the ring?

    :think

All of which are more marketable opponents in and around his weight class.

The opponent has to be a legacy cementing PPV fighter too.
Those are reasons Ward has given for not fighting guys like Kovalev, Stevenson and Golovkin.
I guess Chavez Jr is the only fighter at 168 who checks those boxes for Ward...unless JCCjr is fighting Froch:lol:

They should try and make the fight then and stop talking about what they would do.

Ward is done. He'll be in court suing a guy whose shoes he should be a lickin. Hebest pray he never has to fight GGG on neutral terms as he'll get pummeled.

SOB Ward refuses to fight Stevenson even at 168, Stevenson made Ward look bad live on HBO. Ward ran from Stevenson, ward is spoiled and wants everything done his way...............

Yeah because a mythical list is exactly what allows you to dictate terms in boxing.

Who was that big name P4P number 3 Rigondeaux fought in a monster match the other week?

Martinez was on the pound for pound list when he fought Cotto and Chavez Jr....good job they was willing to come to Argentina and fight him for chump change or he wouldn't of got them fights.....oh that's right, they wasn't and they dictated the terms.

What's that got to do with anything?

Ward isn't a draw and can't dicate terms regardless of how good he is, yet unlike Martinez who was on p4p lists until recently he doesn't seem to realise this.

Rigondeaux for example knows if he wants to fight someone like Santa Cruz he will have to do it on LSC terms.

If Austin Trout wants a rematch with Cotto- do you think Trout could dictate the terms of the rematch (SPOILER: no he can't).

you need to deal with the fact that the division has moved on during ward's inactivity, he is no longer the a-side.

Nope, he wouldn't. Instead of fighting with different conditions than his psycho ones, he would stay retired. The man is a mental midget.
