He will be the bigger favorite in the rematch after a fight in which practically 75% of ringside professional boxing reporters, not to mention fans at home and the stadium, all saw SK winning and by more than a few rounds?

    Come on.

    THIS again?

So let me get this straight. People claimed, since his comeback that Ward would never get in the ring with Kovalev. Heck, some people even claimed he was trying to find a way out of the fight with Barrera.

Ward faced Kovalev. Ward BEATS Kovalev.

And now Ward is afraid to get into the ring with Kovalev again?

Goodness, some of you seriously need to share whatever grade A stuff you're smoking.

Psychotherapy might be more effective for your chronic case of butthurt, than this stream of consciousness...

Of course, Ward is the real tough man in this twosome.

Kovalev might be the one that ends up ducking the rematch.

It wouldn't matter whether Ward would or wouldn't - HBO would never go for this in a million years.

If Kov could have stopped Ward he would have! Kov is one of the best finishers in the business. Very few guys get dropped or hurt by Kov and are still standing for the final bell. You being a Kov fan should know this! In the build up to this fight I gave Ward the slight edge over Kov, due to Wards adaptability and I was right. Ward made the adjustments and nullified Kov's power from the 4th round on. It was a very close fight and initially, I gave the fight to Kov but, after another look, I can see how Ward got the nod. This is a fight that needs a rematch!

Yep! That fight was rigged. If Russia is so great, why didn't Sergey make a name for himself (like many foreign fighters) until he came to the US?

Very few boxing observers even knew who he was prior to him teaming up with Main Events.

And as for the fight being rigged - I see the same bitter sore loser mentality being embraced by many Kovalev fans that is being exhibited by disgruntled supporters of Hillary Clinton.

Ward beat Kovalev. Sergey had a good start, but Ward figured him out, and Sergey couldn't find ways to land his power shots after the early rounds.

Was it a close fight? YES!

Could it have gone either way? YES!

    But it went Ward's way.

Build a bridge and get over it. Kovalev will get another chance at the P4P King.

Some of these Kov fans remind me of parents of little A-hole children, you know the kind! The kids are disrespectful little liars always causing trouble and their parents stand by not saying a word but, let another kid retaliate and boy O boy the parents come unhinged and want blood! Their kids can do no wrong and if they do it's because the other kids started it. LOL Keep up all the griping Kovalev fans! I love it! That crow still stuck in your craw? Humble pie will be served as dessert for the rematch!
