It's certainly a plan. I guess it depends on how confident he really is going into this fight.

Personally I think he feels that's he's a class above Kov and is going to take him to school. He may well do this. I only see him resorting to a bad headbutt if he's getting comprehensively outboxed.

But outside of the kessler fight & maybe the green & bika fight non of his fights have been foul filled & clinch fests

All bika's fights are foul filled & ugly & he killed green who cares how he fought him ward doesnt usually fight like that anyway

He didnt headbutt or hold froch or dawson & even in the Rodriguez fight rod was initiated all the fouls & clinching

All of his last 3 fights was just clean boxing no running no clinching
