Would Berto be the A-side over Ward, GGG and Kovalev? (disregarding weights here obviously)

See if you can figure it out. There is a thread asking if Ward-Lemieux would sell more PPV than they did last Saturday. The only person to vote yes was Pimp C.

Kovalev/Ward being a bigger seller than GGG/Lemieux does not necessarily mean Ward is a bigger draw than GGG. Do you see why?

Should we do a thread for GGG/Canelo numbers and compare that to Kov/Ward?

Maybe we should do Mayweather vs Canelo numbers and compare them to GGG -Lemieux, to see Canelo is the A side against GGG, but im pretty sure you already know that!

And im talking about who would do better h2h in PPV debuts! I thought you would have figured that out you palooka:rofl

...and I was referring to this post. These results do not necessarily mean "Ward would be the A-side."

Everyone knows Canelo or Cotto would be the A-side to GGG and I never suggested otherwise.

I don't know about Ward's past PPV performances but I'd like to know how he'd do fighting an opponent of Lemieux's caliber in terms of popularity. Edwin Rodriguez perhaps. I suppose that wasn't a PPV though.

Among hardcore boxing fans Kovalev is a somebody. To casuals he's a nobody. Some foreigner they've never heard of.

Of course it would, but that's far from an accurate comprasion. Ward vs Chudinov or Kovalev vs Braehmer would be better.

    No

No one knows who Kovalev is, and no one knows or cares who Ward is

    GGG has a huge fanbase

He had trouble selling tickets in his last fight, GGG can sell out against bums.
