Will we ever see champions who will defend their titles constantly? Like Hopkins, Tyson, Holmes etc.? Or are those days over.
Well there’s Inoue, 4 defences in a Calendar Year, last 6 or so fights have all been within basically 4 months of eachother. But in the heavier weight-classes, probably never again with the modern state of the sport.
It's crazy to think it's been over 10 years since we had the last HW champion who defended his titles usually twice a year and fought a Top 5 guy usually once a year.
