experts from previous eras to the 70's are dead. who cares? burt sugar was no more credible than dan rafael.

 

I am really exactly the opposite. I think it is a **** argument from simpletons.

If their guys are so great then they should get in the ring, and if they don't then they should shut up about it. You never hear Russians complaining that the real heavyweight champ is in wrestling or weightlifting. You never hear Brits crying that their best athletes are in soccer or Australians playing the Rugby card.

For that matter, I have never heard a German or Japanese claiming that they could have the heavyweight champ except that too many of their people go into science instead.

I just like Joe Frazier, is all.

the guy was 5'10" 205. he was hardly all muscle. his only option at the tiume was hw, or melt down to 175. he'd lose three or four pounds today, and be a cw. you really are a maroon.

i watched all three fights with ali, both with foreman. fights with quarry, and various scrubs i can't remember at the moment. the guy was a short, chubby, unathletic guy. he did have heart, and a hell of a left hook.
