Will we ever see TWO championship/high profile fights on ONE card again..?

I might be mistaken, but i can't remember the last time that two genuinely match ups were on the same card. I'm talking big names - not mediocre boxers that can still put on a great show. It should be no surprise of course: why should a promoter have one big fight night instead of two nearly as big fights?

Still, the quality of undercards has been dreadful lately...

The Khan-Casamayor fight on the Marquez-Diaz II Undercard would have been nice. Esp. since Marquez - Diaz II is PAY-PER-VIEW in the states. Madness.

In the UK we occasionally have good cards as far as domestic and Euro stuff goes, but as for high level world title fights, never get that anymore.

If/When Pac-May happens it will offer the oppertunity to show off boxing at its best, so they BEST have a damn good undercard for that.

I can remember someone telling me how Naseem Hamed had a world title fight on the undercard of Lewis - Holyfield or some ****. Crazy.

And that was only 10 years ago. Crazy right? It does make you wonder why it took promoters 90 years to find out they could make more money with shitty undercards..

Well you had Mayweather-Marquez with the undercard of John-Juarez 2, that is probably is as close as you are going to get.
