UFC hasn't done over 800k in more than a year now. They're in something of a decline right now with all of their numbers falling across the board. Even then their numbers are deceiving since like the WWE the UFC combine their international and domestic PPV buys where as boxing only releases US domestic buys. If UFC only released their domestic PPVs their numbers would be much much lower. Even a a terrible boxing PPV like Hopkins-Dawson likely broke more than 200k internationally, but they just don't release those numbers. Best example is Hatton-Mayweather which did around 900k but actually got another 1.3 million PPV buys from the UK. Lewis vs Tyson got over 1 million in the US, then another 800k from the UK. Measure evenly boxing's full numbers dwarf the UFC so much they aren't actually on the map. Unfortunately reporters don't seem to realise this and continue to compare the UFC's global buys to boxing's US buys as if the argument means something.

In a nut shell, if Burger King said they were bigger than Mc Donalds by comparing their international pay load to Mc Ds domestic payload, would it be fair? No of course not. That would ******ed in any other market but in boxing vs MMA it's acceptable because the reporters don't actually know what their talking about. The UFC allows this flawed comparison to be made because it makes them look bigger. Hell they don't even release the actual numbers to begin with and let the reporters say what they want so long as it makes them look good.

They're saying in the range of 950k up to 1.2 million.

The Fight Hype tweet that said 800k seems to have been dismissed.
    Iole said over 950k
MMA payout mentioned it's expected to go as high as 1.2 million but they didn't mention their sources.

The good news is boxing didn't die after Pac-Bradley as many believed as straight after Chavez Jr vs Lee pulled in HBO's highest ratings in years, well over 2 million viewers.

    Whatever, can't remember everything.

It was trending high online on the night. Normally that means it did well PPV wise. I'm still baffled by the morons out there who don't believe Manny is worth a million alone as a draw.
