I like Lopez, was pleasantly surprised to see him beat the **** outta Ortiz but I have to go with my guy Alvarez for this one.

Lopez had a great win and is motivated but he is moving up really fast and may be taking too much of a jump

but 2012 has been as unpredictable as any

Froch, Lopez, Haye, Garcia, Bradley and others have all caused some real surprises

we will see 2012 has been expect the unexpected

That was then & this is now. Confidence reigns supreme & Lopez has it.

All I know is that was a bunch of CRAP when they started saying who's gonna fight the redhead now that Ortiz lost? I was like WTF, give Lopez his shot! He deserved it.

I'm not hyping Lopez. I saw a guy with confidence, who was swinging for the fences & came out on top. In boxing alot of times thats all it takes. Maybe he'll keep the ball rolling.

He came out swinging against a mostly hesitant, mentally weak opponent in Ortiz. He was still busted up to hell by the end and it's been apparent, he's not hard to hit. This will spell his doom against Canelo.

If he was more defensively sound, I would give him a chance. But he's not going to win this fight on pure balls. That **** is for the movies. Coming in with almost reckless aggression is going to get his ribs crushed.

I like his chances if he attacks

so far nobody has brought it to Canelo just kind of covered up and hid

Canelo has been buzzed before i dont see why the guns blazing attempt may not work

I mean he could always come in try to bang and jump Canelo before he is ready, how many times do we see these big upsets where a guy just comes out swinging and KO's the superior guy b4 the superior guy can get his **** together

    Silliness :patsch

Cotto(e) was in his chest the whole night and guess what, he kept getting countered and was stopped later in the fight. Gomez brought it to Alvarez and Saul was playing around. That's a **** plan and strategy, thank God you're not a trainer.

That aggressiveness will backfire against Lopez.
Canelo is patient & will pick his shots.

I say this fight goes deep, either TKO late or UD for Alvarez.
