Will we now see Wlad go back to the aggressive KO machine he used to be?

I don't think he'll take aggression too far, as stamina is still a concern that he is well aware of, but after the disappointment that people have widely expressed over his Ibragimov fight, I think he'll be more aggressive and will start the rigiht hand shots more often, and earlier, next fight.

I think his next fight, we'll see him go out to reaffirm his KO destroyer aura, and he should somewhat, go back to his best, most desctructive style.

He obviously has to still be well aware to not be wreckless and leave himself wide open too many times, or throw too much, too soon, and gas out........but I do think we'lll se a very different fighter next time, as he seems to be really concerned over how he has been slammed over this performance, and I bet he is really wanting to get his fans strongly behind him, again. We'll see Wlad ready to take someone out, ala Brock, next fight. I'd almost bet on it.

That's my take on it, anyway.

your boy's hands are so slow. he has no defense at all and minto gave him a rough fight. wlad would end andrew's life.

focus on the white tyson. that's a winnable fight

No, Wladimir will continue to fight very safety first. He'll use the jab early on, throwing it almost exclusively. Once the early rounds go by and he's established it, he'll use it to set up power shots (straight right hands and left hooks).

I don't expect him to ever be aggressive again because he knows it makes him more vulnerable and he could gas out. Will he open up more though than he did against Sultan in the future? Yes (or at least I hope so)

Manny was the one saying the other night......You gotta knock this guy out! You should not be going 12 rounds with this guy. If you go 12 with him, it won't be good.

Wlad has never been overly aggressive. He has always been measured and deliberate. But never more so than Saturday. He used to outbox his opponents while punishing them too, hopefully he'll return to that

True, but Sultan was almost in the fetal position as it was.

:bart Nobody honestly expects to see a return, or a genesis for that matter of a destroyer WLAD. He is very successful fighting with his current strategy, digging in and going to war creates risks team KLIT know better than to allow.

I think Vlad will return to his puncher's style when appropriate, depending on who he's fighting.

Against Austin, Brock and Byrd...yes, Vlad will swing for the roof and get a kayo. But if he's fighting a puncher and it's to his advantage to play it safe, Vlad will do the smart thing and box.

It's silly for people to expect that Vlad should have taken unnecessary chances against Ibragimov by exposing his chin. He had the fight wrapped up by boxing.

Look at it this way: why didn't Golota try to brawl with Tim Witherspoon? If you'll recall, Golota played it safe and won by jabbing.

That night Golota knew it would have been stupid to brawl and leave himself open to Witherspoon's heavy right hand. He had an easy decision in his pocket by using the jab only.

Why is Klitschko not allowed to use the same strategy against Ibragimov?
