Will we see a new improved Khan?

Interesting that at 5:06-5:28 he says that most days in sparring he has the better of Manny...has his number!! That must be a special fighter to do that...of course he also says if the fight went on for real the he felt Manny would eventually get the better of him....still interesting hearing that!

Can improve defense though and that's what he needs.

 

Well he will have to have a very good one now because any fighter he goes against now is going to come out and throw bombs.

He has all the attributes to be world class - speed, power, heart etc. Yet he lacks any kind of a chin and he has too much of an arrogant attitude, which has even got the british fans against him.

 

You can teah Khan to tighten his defense, but you can't teach him to have a granite chin.

The only good thing to come out of his loss was hooking up with Roach. If Roach can't turn him around no mutha can.

Trouble is you watch him fight, he gets in trouble he tries to bang his way out of it. With a glass jaw that's not a good thing.

Lets hope Roach teachs him how to clinch and take a ****ing knee if he has to.

I see alot of Naz Hamed in him and not the good stuff! Lets not get started on those ****ing ears!!

 

He is never gonna achieve big things anyway, no matter how hard he trains, his chin will always be made of glass.

 

No, his suspect defense and chin won't let him. When Willie Limond and Rachid Drilzane are putting you on the canvas your chin is certified china. He'll just have to hope that light-hitting fighters who he can outslick win belts cuz the moment he faces anybody who can crack he'll be taken out. There's really no wiggle room on this either.

wow, Most people are being bloody negative about his chances. You can't write a guy off after one knockout (devastating though it was). I've seen first hand the unpradictability of people's chins. A mate of mine got clean knocked out by me when we were messing about in the gym one time, and yet on another occassion i saw him take a monstrous right in a pub that broke his jaw and he hardly flinched. There's no reason to say that every decent knock he takes in future fights will see him flat out like last time.
I reckon Khan will come back strong from his last defeat. They'll pick his fights much better so he wont be facing anyone who can take his head of like Prescott for a while, and by the time he's ready to challenge the better, heavier hitting fighters of his weight hopefully the greater experience and defensive skills he will have gained will mean he can fare well, and i could see him winning a world title some time in the future (i mean if Malignaggi can with those little love taps a little thing like a glass chin shouldn't get in Khan's way).
However the spectre of his chin will always be hanging over him and will mean i'd never be too keen to put money on him in future years as practically anyone will be in with shot (however small) of turning a fight round with a single decent punch to his chin and putting him on his backside.
It also means it's doubtful he'll ever be able to step up in weight, which would be a natural development for a fighter as young and as comparatively tall (for his weight division) as he is.

 

I see nothing of Naz in Khan, not a thing.

 

Khan would be far better served if he was allowed to fight way down the card in Vegas and get experience there.

Shove him right back in front of his teenybopper fan club and UK press and he's gonna feel that bit more under the spotlight.... hopefully the home pressure won't make him revert to his usual style in a bid to impress.

 

Khan has no big following in the UK apart from all the asians from Bolton and up north.

Hope he gets Ko'd again always was and always will be a hype job.

Only reason Roach is training him is for the money.
