I would think Team Adamek would go after Wladdy. He seems less dangerous than Vitali, but even to beat Wlad would be asking alot of Adamek. Possible though...one good shot on the tip of that chiesel chin & down he'll go!
It will take more than a win against a retiring Golota, but the match up is possible. If Adamek can gain some credibility at HW by beating one or two decent opponents, there will be a great momentum to make this fight. As far as Adamek's chances against either Klits, we would need to see Adamek's speed, power and chin at HW to make that call. It will be very tough either way because it would be a huge adjustment for Adamek to fight someone so much taller (he would be giving up 4-5 inches in height) and both brothers tend to handle shorter opponents very well.
Yes, but let's not put the carriage before the horse. Good old Andrew could still have a bag or tricks (dirty or otherwise) to show and could care less about Adamek's career. It will be totally fascinating to see whether a guy who started boxing as a middleweight (amateur) will be able handle the power of these giants and dish out his own.
I don't think we'll see this fight within the next year. However - the division is so bad right now - the Klits will fight anyone with a decent name - that they thinks can generate interest and money. By Adamek fighting mainly in the states - I can see them trying to make a fight in AC or MSG - to get a lot of the Polish people from that area to come out and buy tickets - since Adamek is fighting out of North Jersey.
No, the division is not that bad. Fighters like Chamber, Arreola, Povetkin and Chagaev would hand Adamek his ass. Beating a digraced never was like Golota means absolutely nothing. Hell, didn't Golota get has ass waxed by Ray Austin who lost to Wlad in 2 pathetic rounds?
Yes the Division is that bad. When the average person on the street doesn't know who the HW Champ is - that's bad for the business. Chamber, Arreola, Povetkin and Chagaev are barely known to the public and probably don't carry a following like Adamek does. So in a business sense - Adamek would probably bring in more fans and more money. And it's usually never who you beat - but how you beat them. A good showing by Adamek and the buzz might start. Look at it light this - Tua hasn't fought in almost 2 year. Won his fight the other night and he's already being talked about at the next opponent for one of them. And you say the division isn't bad.
