Will we see Mayweather vs Hopkins

    The first time I heard of this, is when Hopkins was interviewed some time after Mayweather beat Canelo. Now I just read a article where Naaszim Richardson is predicting that a fight like this would be even bigger then De la hoya vs Mayweather and Canelo vs Mayweather. Considering Hopkins age, would a victory over him put Floyd in the top 3 ATG list or would he have to do more to solidify that spot?

    but 90% of people would be buying.. oh look at him he is so much larger than Floyd and is a LHW coming down to MW to fight small floyd....

    Well Hopkins would have to be drained, because he is a light heavy weight. Floyd wouldn't dare move from Welter weight to LHW. So the fight would be a catch weight. Would that knock him out of the top ATG list beating a weight drain Hopkins?

    Hopkins is going to cut 15 pounds when he has struggled to make weight with Pascal? Yeah, I'll believe that when it never happens.

    I don't think that will happen. I don't think Hopkins has been below 158 since he was a teenage kid. I believe that when he was at middleweight he would stay above 158 at all times.

    Hopkins says a lot. Wasn't he gonna fight David Haye not long ago?

    I did hear Hopkins actually talked about fighting Mayweather at middleweight after he beat Pavlik

    It will be very interesting and anything is possible. This fight will create a lot of buzz in both negative and positive ways. The question is will Hopkins throw another tantrum when random testing is mention to him:lol:

    The press conference and face offs will be interesting. B-hop will totally humiliate and intimidate Floyd with his stare and gangsta talk with him being a real hood ass n.i.g.g.a and a former arm robber that got stabbed and been to prison respected by the streets.

    This is between a boy (Floyd) and a man (B-Hop)
