Wilder is set to reclaim the WBC Title once Fury vacates it, and then he'll probably be out of retirement next year, to set up Wilder/Fury 4
Because he will be champion again, Fury was KO'd in the first fight, it was a long count. Wilder knocked him down many times in the 3 fights, it's not like Fury was perfect in all 3, Wilder can beat him.
Cause Fury likes to fight easy fights vs guys be has ready beaten and wbc pushes Wilder. No way was that a draw by the way. Wilder pnly won the rounds where he dropped Fury and arguably one round more in the beginning if you are being really generous.
No, Wilder hasn't beaten anyone of note and is irrelevant. Fury won all three fights and is now retired. Wilder can only become WBC Champion if he fights another soft opponent (all the tip HWs beat him).
If wilder had won the third fight, then the series would have been 1-1-1, so a fourth fight would have made sense. As of now, the only scenario I could imagine would be if Wilder somehow beyond belief whooped both Usyk and AJ and got all 4 belts. Maybe then Fury might come out of his 7th retirement for a shot at undisputed.
Get help. Fury got up and the fight was declared a draw while literally 85%-95% of the boxing community of every poll thought Fury won.
It's possible if it makes monetary sense (that's about the only sense it could make). Personally I'd watch it. I enjoy seeing Wilder get slapped around and his fans having meltdowns, and I'm at the point with Fury where I wouldn't mind seeing his head taken off if Wilder somehow landed that once in a lifetime shot.
Even if Wilder got himself as the Undisputed Champion which is not in the realms of impossibility I’m not even sure Fury could motivate himself to come back and fight him a fourth time . However if Wilder did go Undisputed he would certainly be calling Fury out for a fourth go without a doubt.
If you scored the first fight a draw then you were probably high. Wilder didn't win a single round besides the knock down rounds. Fury's jab was highly unappreciated in that fight.
