Will we stick together on boycotting Brook vs Chaves?

You do realise it would be Sky who decide if it goes on PPV, Adam Smith and Eddie Hearn are going to have very little say on the matter, particularly Hearn. Yes it looks like a poor PPV, he has said he will add more to it so I will judge the PPV once the card is completed.

 

Translation: I'll buy anything.

How thick do you have to be to wait until it's finalised to judge it?

Eddie's shows are the equivalent of friendlies in Football and are as one-sided as a Buk*ake movie.

Look at the card when it's finalised and just see how the cards stacks up in terms of 50/50 fights, let alone WORLD CLASS fights.

It's all in MR's favour - Always has been and always will be.

 

I'll organise a night out so i won't be tempted to buy.

 

I'm going to the show anyway so no I wont be buying anything. I will judge it when it is completed and it is apparently not completed. As it stands it will be a very poor PPV.

I actually think the brook fight will be his toughest yet but it isn't worthy of being a ppv fight.the first and perhaps only real ppv fight brook will have is the khan fight. After he ko's khan think he will struggle against thurman or even spence

 

I won't buy it as it stands and I normally buy everything.

If you want to watch boxing, you going to need to accept you have to pay one way or the other.

 

No one is interested in Brook, the cross dresser. He fills out telephone booths only.

They should have moved the Brook fight to next year and put the Klit-Fury fight to that slot.

I accepted the need to pay for boxing when I got a sky contract.

I don't accept that they can then make anything half decent ppv.

If that's the case put it all on ppv (with no monthly subscription) and I'll chose on a case by case basis.

Very shortsighted at the moment from Sky/MR. Smacks of bleeding the current resurgence in boxing dry imo. It's great building your company on the interest of casuals, but when they move on to the next "big thing" don't be surprised if you've alienated the bread and butter fans from the sport.

 

What on earth are you talking about? Of course Hearn has a say what's on ppv? Sky ask Eddie to make them x amount of ppv's a year, this is one he has decided to put on ppv as he feels brook is now a strictly ppv fighter (completely wrong)
