Pac insisted on a catchweight for the Cotto fight pretty much refusing to fight at 147. The fight would not have happened if Cotto hadn't agreed to a lower weight.

Mayweather couldn't make 144 for the Marquez fight and opted to pay a huge fine instead of making the weight.

Could weight be an obstacle that these 2 won't be able to work around or is there enough money in the fight to make it work?

All of this of course is assuming that pacquiao gets by cotto.

Yes it will Pac will want it below 147 probably around 144 and PBF will want it at 147.

Roach said he would be willing to have Pac fight Money at 147. He also said Money was small, weak, and an easier fight than against Cotto. Given all of this, I see no reason for the fight not to be at 147 lbs.

Well, considering Freddy Roach said he wants Floyd at 147, I am thinking NO.

Saying it and doing it are two different things. Roach knows PBF will give Pac hell and will want the fight below 147.

This fight being signed will be a Pay per view event in itself! Could take years to sign,
by that time Floyd will be retired.

I doubt it. Certainly not as big as the money issue. I don't see why they can't just split it, both are going to get a huge purse anyway, it's just a pride thing in wanting the majority.

They could fight at 144-145, I think it would be fair, Floyd weighted 146 at the weight in and he just needs to drop 1 or 2 pounds which I think it won't bother him at all.

The biggest issue imo will be the share, Pac's people want 50/50 but I don't think Floyd will accept that...

it would be both of there largest pay days ever. They both would be stupid not to go for a 50/50, because either side will budge.

omo, not as big an issue as the glove size. floyd will insist on the biggest gloves for defense purpose, and pac will insist on the smallest one for his punching style. dead lock.

the weight can be settled easily by roach insisting on a catchweight he likes and floyd insisting on a penalty small enough he is willing to pay. end of story.

this fight will happen if pac beats cotto IF he does he will hold a belt at 147 and if the fight with floyd happens he will be fighting a welterweight who is also 147 if pac wants catchweight then he is a *****

Floyd would want to fight with the 8 oz. gloves. People forget that he's only had two fights with 10 oz. gloves. A guy with his defense isn't worried about the glove size.
