In an ideal boxing world, they would fight each other now and the winner would face AJ as an approximate equal in aassive unification. That's not going to happen, they are both chasing the AJ payday. They will be viewed properly as overwhelming underdogs this way and it will make their already likely defeat even more likely. I'd love to see the two fight though. Assuming they both lose to AJ, it would be a common sense fight to make immediately afterward. With Povetkin and Ortiz getting closer to retirement by that point, the winner would be the clear #2 of the division. It would probably be big, by far the highest paying non AJ fight either of them would ever have. Do you think it would happen, or will Wilder or both just go back to bum surfing?
If Wilder loses to AJ, the guy should be forced to work his way into a mandatory position like every other guy has to.
With Wilders and now Parker's camp not willing to sell their belt cheaply to Hearn, im not sure either will fight Joshua any time soon
wilder parker and Joshua will all fight each other in there careers... its just a matter of time lol.
It should happen and I would prefer it if Parker fights Wilder before he takes on Joshua. Talks at the moment is 'Joshua vs him and him...confirmed!' Deontays physique might be that of 'the boxer' role but he is the puncher. The shorter Parker, will be the boxer. It will be a great fight.
Wilder is American so he'll probably go inactive for two years before coming back to cash in on his name while looking like a shell of his former self.
Wilder is looking to cash out and sell his belt for 20 mill in his mind he knows you can only fight so much bums before you might even lose to one so might aswell cash out
