    Oh no just wondering. I've lived in the UK for 2 odd years in the early 2000s. Where ever you look the world over you find people or areas of the country that seem like time has forgotten them.

    I am a NZer and I chortled. It's pretty obvious things are a bit like going back in time a bit coming to NZ because of the aforementioned things but I think it's far from a bad thing. It's a sign of chill, not a sign of being backwards and it's quite nice to come back to when you spend a bunch of time away from NZ.

    Thats I would agree with, cars and fashion were way better 20 years ago.

    actually make that 15 for fashion.
