Something tells me Wilder still hasn't delt with his demons from the Fury loss. I have a feeling the bum dosser will mentally collapse mid fight and go out in a bang and fight Fury after the bell at some point or bite his ear off and try and find a way out just like Mike Tyson did when he got battered by Holyfield.

True but Tyson was only considered a total lunatic after the Holyfield bite. He'd never done anything too crazy in the ring before that.

To be fair to Wilder. He's a complete bellend, but he's not a dirty fighter. So I can see that happening.

I Can see Tyson being DQ more. Or no contest BS more likely.

Didn't he hit Zelenoff while he was down? I mean yeah this was not under the rules of prizefighting but I think it tells you what he's capable of doing.

Um was it Fury or Wilder who actually had a official "mental collapse"?

Nah he will just get his butt whooped again and the ref will stop it. Then he'll go on social media and blame everyone, and the few fans that he has will agree with him.

    Both.

Difference is what they did while having the breakdown.

Fury ate a ton, did cocaine and partied. Once before all that he even dressed up as Batman.

Wilder sat alone in a dark room and experienced cognitive dissonance, saying the trainer who most likely saved his life had drugged and betrayed him, the ring costume was too heavy despite stating he wore a heavier weight on his chest training, explained Fury both moved his glove down while at the same time having a metal object at the tip... which kind of cancels each other out, his team even had an autopsy. Screamed at a camera and “trained” inside a “gym” with no equipment that only existed in a rented out townhome.

You have to be biased one way or another to not see both of them are not quite right in the head but one of them is definitely in a better place at the moment, getting off social media and focusing on the craft.

Yep Wilder sure came up with some wild ass excuses and sacked his trainer after his loss, in some ways he mirrored Foreman after his loss to Ali, Foreman claiming he was drugged, his corner telling him to stay down till later in the 10 count but miscounting themselves, a fast 10 count by ref etc resulting in Foreman sacking his long standing trainer Saddler.

Foreman did say in an interview in 'The Life and Times of Muhammad Ali' by Thomas Hauser (1991) that as a constant winner, he didn't know how to lose with dignity; and so he came up with all sorts of excuses after his loss to Ali. Including that he was drugged, Wilder seemed to have read same script.

Furys breakdown however happened not at time of losing the title but in fact started when he was the champion of the world, that is definitely not a justified reason to have a breakdown, that is fragility in any ones books.

Twenty fourth of July will be the day when the verbal talk ends and the punches will do the talking.

I’ve worked as a psychologist for two decades.

Your phrase “justified reason” as it relates to any mental illness or having a breakdown is absurd.

There does not have to be a “justified reason” for mental illness or a breakdown psychologically, that’s why it’s called mental illness. FULL STOP.

There can exist underlying causes, that you know nothing about, from genetics to environment and since Fury wasn’t as vocal with his mental condition as Wilder, there is less to go on. As I said BOTH of them have had breakdowns and that’s ok, they are in a high pressure sport.

It’s obvious you like Wilder and dislike Fury but your nonsense is offensive.

Wilder constantly hit opponents behind the head, not cuffing little blows from the clinch but full on windmill shots. He's also tried to hit opponents when they're down.
