No. He's already showed zero interest in getting the ball rolling, and seems to show little to no interest in self-promotion in general. He's been offered numerous opportunities to make himself known to the British public and he turns them down every time. I see nothing in his current actions that suggests this will be any different. He could have been the one getting in Joshua's face at the press conference, not Miller. Instead it's Miller who'll likely jump the queue because he actually has the hustle to get himself out there.
And what's so bad about that? He gets a lucrative fight with a fan favourite, beats him down in brutal fashion in front of thousands of UK fans, and suddenly he's on everyone's tongues. Sounds like a great way to put pressure on Joshua and Hearn to make the fight to me. Instead he decides to stay home and... what? How has he anything he's actually done here benefitted his career?
This is exactly it. Wilder had the opportunity to really make Joshua look bad here but he didn't even try to make an effort. For all his bravado and street talk he's as timid as a mouse.
No I can't see it.. It's all about being the "A" side and the "A" side don't go and watch the "B" side fight. AJ has never been to Bum**** to see Wilder fight has he...
