Personally I can't see him facing Whyte before the big showdown with AJ. Whilst I would heavily favor Wilder, he is too much of a risky opponent to fight willingly. My guess is he will drop his demands for 50-50 and push for the AJ fight as his next fight as soon as possible. If AJ/Hearn don't play ball then I guess he is going to be forced to fight Whyte to retain his belt.

Deontay should take the fight. He can't go back to paying cherry picks $100k.

I don’t think Wilder will avoid Whyte in fact Wilder would win. And I am no fan of Wilder.

Let’s be real, Whyte needed a good performance to get back in the mix, and credit him for getting it. But also credit his match making team. Browne was AWFUL.

38 year old off Peds largly inactive - sound familiar. These match makers know what they are doing. But Ortiz is light years ahead of Browne.

Whyte was in shape and he showed no fear of Brownes power. Credit to him for both game plan and dedication. But i’m Not jumping on the bandwagon because Browne was that bad

Ehat about Wilder Brazaele? Id rather see Wilder Whyte, but realistically, Big Dom is close to the same level and I can see legit political reasons for them to go that route rather than Whyte.

Yeah, I agree. Team Wilder may want to keep the next fight in America to build the market for an LV megafight against AJ, though.

Hearn could make a PPV of the fight.
Wilder will get 75% and potentially MORE considering thier most recent performances

Whyte did exactly what your supposed to do to out of shape inactive HW. If Wilder takes Dillian next I won’t be mad because I doubt AJ fights him.

When he beats Dillian I hope everyone who thinks that Wilder will duck him gives wilder his props.

But he wouldn't have gotten credit from those in the know for beating Whyte. Ortiz does that for him, and that has a $ value. Wilder can fight Whyte for a comparable amount that he otherwise would have, and then be in good position to demand 45% against AJ, which is where the real money is.

WBC will not order Wilder-Whyte despite the fact that Whyte was labeled as the 1st contender before the Browne fight.

It will rather be Wilder-Breazeale etc...
