He has to fight somebody. You very well could be, he has a great backstory but he has to put it on the line.

Holy .. you are obsessed with Golovkin. :rofl This is a heavyweight thread you racist.

And yes, he will. 97k? No, 150k, first fight, against an Canadian, as a Kazakh, in the US, MSG, sold out. Millions of viewers all around the world.

He's Kazakh, no one cares what Americans think of him. America is not relevant in boxing anymore.

The question is, how many Americans are willing to pay for Wilder or Ward? They get hardly views when it's on free TV which is the reason the fight is streamed on Youtube. :rofl:rofl

Both GGG and Wilder should be bigger stars than they are, they coming to fight and almost always wins by KO, isn't that what people want to see?!

So will Golovkin the 97k ppv man ever become a ppv star? The guy is nearly in his mid 30's, and has never fought better than C level .

Wilder could if he steps up his competition. He's a very exciting, relatively young, American Heavyweight. All the boxes are checked, He's just not fighting at the top level.... Also why the heck are we talking about GGG on this thread? ridiculous.

There's a guy who's obsessed with him and talks about him in every thread. He compares his (false) PPV numbers with champions who fight on Youtube live streams.

I don't think Wilder is especially good, and I imagine he'll lose sooner rather than later in the grand scheme of things. However, if I'm wrong about him, and he can continue managing to string victories together, Wilder could potentially have the best chance at becoming the next big PPV star in boxing IF he can overcome the hurdles before him.

Which brings me back to my original line of thinking, that he isn't likely to overcome too many of these hurdles. But if he does, he can potentially become a huge attraction.

Wont know until they try right? You have to start somewhere. But lets just ignore this when it comes to talking about Golovkin vs Lemiuex fights PPV numbers. GGG was blasted for over a months because he only got a 150K PPV's. And lets not talk about only a few months before the biggest rip off and let down of the century the Mayweather vs Pacquiao PPV. After that fight most PPV people were upset an vowed to boycott by not buying anymore boxing PPV's. I even recall a class action lawsuit by angry gamblers who were infuriated over Manny not disclosing the shoulder injury and claiming the fight was rigged!

Then only a few months after GGG vs DL the Floyd vs Berto did 400,000K PPV's. So that tells you that a lot weren't buying. Many blame it all on Andre Berto and called him a shot fighter. Then they say Floyd had the right for once to hand pick is final opponent! For once? That's hilarious. Floyd fought 48 killers?lol :D But I would of expected more than 400,000K for TBE's final fight before he rides of into the sunset! That tells you again that its fallout from May vs Pac.

No, he's gonna get knocked out as soon as his handlers put him in with anybody decent.
