I think this will be the year twig legs finally takes the ten count. Looks like he’s going to have to step in with an actual B-level or above fighter this year. I kind of hope it’s an in shape Fury. That would be a slow sustained beating.

I think nothing of note will happen in the Wilder department in 2018. He'll have two fights, Breazeale and some stiff.

I just wish Wilder would step up and fight some top-flight opponents. He may be selling himself short. He may be more talented than many think but we won't know if he doesn't step up.

if the ortiz fight takes place IMO despite what people say about ortiz i rate him.
deontay comes at ortiz / sloppy and swinging for the fences he will get KTFO

he needs a gameplan and to stick to it
if he beats ortiz which IMO he will not on current form and technique
then i think it will be joshua next / another fight where he could and IMO will lose by ko

albeit it will be harder for joshua than i beleive currently because wilder would have proved himself to me by beating ortiz.

so he will have a 25% chance of getting through 2018 unscathed

No, also he won't fight anybody of note.

He can't get respect by fighting old Ortiz, given his statements on AJ beating an old Klitschko.

Breazeale is AJs leftovers, fighting him would be very hypocritical.

An AJ fight won't happen at a fifthy fifthy split, and accepting less would result in Wilder looking like a fool after his recent statements.

Maybe he can get in the ring with Whyte, as long as bad against Browne as Helenius.

As usual I think his Twitter will work harder than him.

I agree with this. Beating Ortiz would prove nothing to me.

If he keeps fighting sub-par tomato cans, then no.

He won't fight anyone decent, so Wilder will remain undefeated.

If he fights Ortiz, maybe, if he side steps him and continues to duck Joshua with his silly 50/50 split demand then still maybe because Breazeale has a punchers chance.

No, he'll never fight a dangerous opponent.
