Will Wilder retire if he loses the third fight?

Fury will get medieval on his ass
Because that 'one guy' totally exposed him. Expect his career to go the way of Kelly Pavlik, Felix Trinidad, Sergei Kovalev, Jeff Lacy, Michael Grant, David Price and many others. Many such cases
There's still fun but not as much fun as there would have been if he were still an unbeaten champion. See, this is the stupidity of Wilder. He could've fought Joshua when they were both unbeaten for all the belts, tons of money, probably one of the biggest PPVs of all time and the satisfaction of one of them taking the other's 0. Instead he went and fought Fury for a lot less money and got exposed.

A fight between Wilder and Joshua now is going to be a third place play-off at best if Joshua can't beat Usyk and a second place play-off if he can.

Hopefully not, I want to see him fight Dustin Nichols type of opponents once again.

It's possible but how would he not still gun for an AJ fight?

    Lose to Fury.

Feed on two no hopers... gain momentum, short attentionspanned boxing fans proclaim he's back as they always do with power punchers, AJ coming off another loss to Usyk and then a rebound fight...

Then make AJ vs Wilder in the UK.

Still would do decent numbers, especially since AJ is a much more winnable fight for Wilder than Fury is.

AJ vs Wilder is still a genuinely intriguing fight.

Also, given many of the typical heavyweight fights we get... Wilder vs Chisora and Whyte really aren't bad fights either.

If they are smart, there's still one more chapter to Wilders career after this.

If he loses he will blame Malik Scott and the entire NSAC for all conspiring against him.

Gypsy magic is totally unregulated in heavyweight boxing. It's an open secret that most heavyweights come into the ring with Gypsy magic sprinkled on their gloves. Wilder is the only clean fighter of the lot.

Getting exposed by one of the best heavyweights in the world is not really that bad I think he will be ok

I still would like to see him fight Joshua before he retires.

But you see, Fury has now given Wilder's future opponents a game plan. He telegraphs his right hand, he can't fight on the back foot, he's got weak legs, terrible footwork and he doesn't take punishment well. Now it's true that not all of Wilder's future opponents will be able to execute that game plan effectively, get into a shoot out with Wilder and come out on top. But they all realise now that the secret is not to avoid his right hand and win the rounds, but to smother him instead. If you didn't realise that he's been fighting bums his whole career you'd wonder how nobody saw it before now.

This is assuming of course that Wilder's career isn't ended tonight and he doesn't spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair because he's so pig-headed he fired the trainer who may have saved his life and replaced him with an idiot yes man

If he loses badly he might. The blueprint will be out to beat him, he will be 36 and his money matches will be greatly diminished. Plus he would still be dangerous with his right hand so some might avoid him. I think he would probably fight again and lose unexpectedly and then hang them up
