Sorry "nobody outside of people who dislike Hatton think is meaningful"

A lot of people in the UK must dislike Hatton then, because most wanted to see the fight. This was obviously the case when he took however many thousand fans to America.

    :huh

No people where just brain washed into believing that Hatton was/is made for Witter.....when in thruth it IS the other way round.

Ive never cared for the fight. Hatton got beat by the P4P numero uno....Witter got beat by a top 20 fighter.......who seems a good prospect mind you:good

I was a Witter fan. No more. His performance was PATHETIC last night. Well done though Timothy Bradley. Excellent performance and he's a contender for 'best physique in boxing' - unbelievably 'cut'.

The fight was only meaningful because Witter had a strap ..The previous post summed the macth perfectly !

I'm saying the idea of "best jww in britian" is an idea that never has, never will, and certainly does not now have any weight at all in the boxing world.

The fight and the title are different things, the fight was interesting but was not needed to prove some worthless point that nobody who knows boxing needs to see proved.

If witter really believed and wished so much to prove that he was a much better fighter then Hatton, all he needed to do was improve his resume, by perhaps trying to unify the division, and in the process geting the bigger fights. He didn't, he simply sat on a belt, contantly bad mouthing/calling out Hatton, looking for a smash and grab at another guys career, big payday and without building a career of comparable substance himself.

Well a person loses in life it reveals more about them than when they are having things their own way. It's ironic you've made this thread when it's plain to see that Hatton and a number of his fans have been whingeing like bitches about the Mayweather fight. Junior thought he won the fight but when the andrenaline has subsided and he watches it back I hope he's man enough to admit he was well beaten, it would disappoint me if he came out with lame excuses like Hatton.

How can you still be a fan? A terrible, boring performance from Witter.

I haven't heard any Witter fans cry like anything.

I haven't heard them blame the referee, a coldsore, a ruff, nasty opponent who uses his elbows or anything else for Witter's defeat.

By and large they had enough class to admit that the better man won fair and square.

A salutory lesson for fat, chanting alkies everywhere.

So apparantly you have never seen Scurlaruntings and other idiots list Witter as the #1 140lber and suggest Hatton was, get this, afraid of the guy who just lost terribly to Bradley. I mean will they continue to cry that Hatton is afraid of a second tier fighter?
