Will "THE MAN" at 140 still call Hatton out after he was beat last night? Or will he once and for all shut his mouth and try to bounce back from this loss? The best part about this loss is that all the Hatton haters are gonna make it seem like Bradley's the next P4P great or make excuses like he had an off night. And I understand people are wrong with predictions, but it's so funny to me that so many people were building Witter up like he was an elite fighter.
Probably he is that deluded. Remeber he fights just like Mayweather:rofl because remember Witter said he would do to Hatton what Mayweather did but only quicker:rofl
Great fighters win great fighters loose. So much is built these days on a loss by fickle posters. Its ironic that the thread starter thinks that Witter was apparently built up to be an "elite" fighter. Witter was a fighter throughly deserving of his shot at Hatton considering the years of rivalry. It is Hatton who has reneagued on that agreement and staunchly avoided Witter thus denying us the all british clash we hoped for. There is no basis for ANY argument whatsoever by any Hatton nuthugger to say "i told you so". Bradley is clearly a talented fighter and deserves his place now at the top of the division. He was an unknown quantity prior to the fight and styles make fights. Hence why Hatton has avoided a plethora of elite and great fighters at 47 and 140 since beating Kostya and elects to fight fighters who are already KNOWN quantities. Thus his simple minded fans beat the same drum again and again.
probably, ... witters like a broken record tbh. he cant fill a arena to save his life, now he has no belt, but according to him he will still be a better fight than Pauly or Bradley or any of the other belt holders. for me, bradley hatton would be a very exciting match up with hatton - and i think hatton sruggles with the pure energy this kid shows. pauly at MSG would be a pure ticket seller and do decent PPV. not sure about the WBA champ i think he wouldnt be great from a money point of view, but does have a belt, and same goes for torres. at this juncture i really dont see whats left for witter other than to get his arse back in contention, he needs to up his work rate by 100% tho tbh. personally i think he will carry on, after the fight last night he was deluded talking about how he thought he had done enough to win, BOLLOCKS, the SD was a total sham if you ask me, bradley out hussled him and fought better for all but 2 rounds on my card. /Theo.
lol, bradley was about as an unknown a quantity as urango was, (although urango had a belt rather than being a challenger) and yet people like you criticised hatton for taking that fight. you spin it any way you can to have a pop at hatton you're ridiculous.
You see that portion you highlighted? Thats right what does it say stupid? STYLES MAKE FIGHTS. Dont talk to me about spin when you`ve pulled parts of post and interpreted them to mean what YOU THINK they mean. Im not making any excuses for Witter he lost plain and simple to a guy stylistically who was better than him. May be he had a off night may be he didnt. But to casually dismiss him on the basis of one bad night goes to show the fickle poster that you are. So dont get it twisted Hatton struggled immensely with Urango and was able to walk away with a disputed decision. Does that now put him a peg above Witter in your eyes? Its the same meat just a diffrent gravy.
he probably still will seeing how he himself though he "won comfortably" on the cards. he is delusional
Yes indeed. Hatton thought the same thing despite being KO`ed by a turn buckle. Infectious disease that "delusionality"
i never thought much of witter, not to say hes not a good fighter, but people on this board made it seem like he would walk right thru hatton, who is a top 20 p4p guy easy. And yeah boxing is about wins and losses in a sense. It's not that hurtful to ones career in a case when De La Hoya fought Mosley because they were both elite fighters either way. Witter got knocked down and beat by a pretty much unknown fighter. I'm not saying Bradley isn't good but this was suppose to be a cake walk for Witter in the eyes of many and he lost plain and simple. It's great how Hatton haters are changing their arguement from Hatton is ducking witter to now Hatton shoulda fought Witter years ago. Lol. It's funny to me a guy who just lost to an unknown prior to this fight, is the best at 140 in the eyes of MANY. I don't mind Witter at all, but its the people who post on here makin him up to be some GOD that annoys me.
here's the problem Scurlar, first styles do make fights, and anyone who knows anything about witter knows he cant deal with being rushed, it showed early in his boxing life and it showed last night, hence why lots of us have never believed he would have a good time against hatton (apart from a large OK). second, you critisize hatton for fighting known quantitys, well witter should look in the mirror, Harris? known quantity. Lovemore? known quantity. Chop chop? known quantity. as for the urango comment, did you even watch the friggin fight? for the first 5 rounds hatton was all style, jabbing moving and generally having a work out on urango, urango for all his bluster couldnt lay a friggin glove on him. in fact apart from one very meaning full shot that urango hit hatton with in the 6th (possibly the 7th) hatton won all rounds to this point. let me break it down for you dude, fights are score on the 10 point per round system, this means if you with 7 rounds and there are no 2 point rounds, youve friggin won. period. the only people who believe this decision was desputed are the same people who support Tito's win over oscar, its much the same thing only with hugging rather than running. after hatton got hurt post 7th round, he resorted to hit and hold tacktics to get the job done. it turned what till that point had been a flawless performance, in to a ugly affair, that is the only "dispute" anyone who disputes the points tally really shouldnt be scoring boxing matches. (much like the prat who gave lastnights fight to witter). as for you latter comment about a off night for witter, here comes my main point, i can point to many performances against european (and by this i mean euro and commonwealth lvl fighters) where witter has performed like ****, not put the effort in and thought he deserves the win by just turning up. back when rick was fighting that level of fighter (pre KT, when he was more prime than now) i can only point to 1 such performance. you know what dude, you hate hatton, we get it. just try not to bend the facts eh? personally i think witter needs to up his workrate by 10 fold, and has needed to for along time, you cant always hit that big hey maker, esecially when you are not a concussive puncher. bradley on the other hand was everything witter wasnt, he was prepared, he was energetic, he was full of attack and he genuinly took he title from witter, in fact id say he riped it away from him with pure will and deterination. his attitude totally rocked, and i hope he goes along way in the LWW division. /Theo.
Ah yes, but great fighters don't lose against fighters that have never faced a top 50 opponent. Hatton did avoid Witter, and he was soooooo correct to do so. Now Witter's career will be going down the toilet, as no-one will want to fight him because of his horrifically negative style - and he won't get any sort of payday for all his efforts either. That must be FAR more satisfying for Hatton than paying Witter to be a punchbag for him.
lol, "disputed descision" hatton won 10 rounds clearly he did get winded half way through when he had already won the fight, so he coasted for the rest of it, as he had a big fight with castillo already signed. it wasn't pretty, but a means to an ends, that's what pro's do sometimes.
