We all saw another chinny Brit, Amir Khan, get put on jelly legs from a Breidis Prescott jab. Haye is a bit fragile in the chin department, can you see him getting hurt from the Klitscho jab?
No chance, Haye is fragile when hit to the side of the temple, he has had no trouble when hit on the chin.
Any shot wobbles him. Haye could well be wobbled by a jab if he gets caught flush as he lunges in throwing his own. That'll still be an improvement on all of Wlad's other recent opponents who were far too scared of the jab and right to even trying getting in range to unleash their own punches. You can guarantee Haye, if he is going down, is going down swinging if nothing else.
The same argument can be used to crap all over Tyson. Coz almost every one knew that his opponents are shiting bricks. Maybe samo on will say that his style is so effective only coz his opponents was scared of him. Or they can say tha same thing about wlad.
I'm not trying to crap all over Wlad; it's obvious that he posseses the best jab in the division and that alone is enough to scare many opponents. Can you honestly watch the Rahman fight and tell me that Hasim didn'tjust try to survive as long as possible once he realised he hadn't a hope in hell of getting inside and beating Wlad to the punch? My point was that Haye is going in there to win and, yes, he may well get stopped or even dropped by a jab, but he's going to do it while going forward, unlike Rahman, Thompson and Ibragimov who seemed content to shell up and survive.
I just hope Haye doesn't bulk up too much for this fight and keeps his speed - then we will be in for an explosive fight!
